Get out of your way

"You had a purpose before anyone had an opinion"

Today's photo is a little deep. Let me start off by saying that I am by no means a gardener in any way. You want a plant to die- send it to me and I'm all over that. There is one exception to my green thumb and that is the feature in today's photo. It's some sort of weed/wild flower that if I'm not careful, it would take over my yard. It blooms in March and dies off in October. I never water it, weed it, or care for it whatsoever. It blooms and spreads unless I pull it or nuke it.

Strange isn't it? If I leave that flower/weed alone, it thrives. If I pull it out of the ground, it'll still sprout up. Can you imagine what my garden would look like if I did care for it? Some probably have encountered this plant and have killed it off. Others may embrace the plant, as I do, to add a little color in their garden.

Why can't we allow our dreams and goals to take root like this plant? Let your dreams and goals bloom and grow. If someone plucks your ideas or ambitions, sprout anyway! There will always be those who look at your dreams and see a weed, but others will see flowers. You have a purpose in life, so let it grow and shine! Don't stand in your own way, don't let anyone's opinions stop you from thriving. Take a lesson from this flower- and get out of your own way.
