Life's a game that we all need to learn how to enjoy
Random fact for everyone today: I’m addicted to game apps. Candy crush and Toon Blast can take up WAY too much of my time if I let them. If you aren’t familiar with those types of games, basically, it’s a strategy game. There are specific criteria that you must meet in order to complete the level. You move around shapes of different colors to match to “blow up” obstacles or “capture” objects. As you move up in levels, the objectives get more difficult to achieve. There are some awards that you can win to help when you need help to succeed in your mission.
Wouldn’t it be nice if life was as clearly defined like that? Your life could be mapped out so clearly, that you knew for sure what you needed to accomplish each year to reach success. If you have difficulties that year, you could use your rewards from the previous years to help you out. Then, if at first, you don’t succeed, you can try again!
While we might not know EXACTLY what is necessary to achieve success at each point in our lives, life is still as easy as a game. Just remember that everyone will have a different objective, change the game halfway through, and have different beginnings to endure. Each person may have a harder game with more complicated obstacles, but that’s what makes those wins so worth it. “Failure” should be removed from the dictionary and replaced with “learning opportunity.” When you get knocked down, get your butt back up and try again. Learn from your mistakes and try to be better than you were before. And don’t take life too seriously; after all, none of us make it out alive anyway.
