Mostly sunny or Partly cloudy?

Random thought for you today:

Is there a difference between "mostly sunny" or "partly cloudy"? Meteorologists most likely have explanations for either term that clearly state the difference. The general public might think it's a matter of opinion. Others might think, "as long as the sun is shining, I don't care!"

Social media, news, politics- they all have information that may or may not be necessary in life. I realize I say this quite frequently, but I won't- literally, every subject can be negative or positive. Society has placed so much emphasis on the importance of "opinions" that we've lost sight of perspective. Radicals, conservatives, and everyone in between will argue about anything until the end of time. Our time on this world will end someday and we all want to make an impact on the world, right? At the end of the day, we all want the world to be a better place, right?

"I'm a dreamer. I have to dream and reach for the stars, and if I miss a star then I grab a handful of clouds." Good ole Mike Tyson. We all have dreams, opinions, wishes- but when we chose to look at things as "mostly sunny", it's a decision to accept the obstacles and uncertainty while embracing the sunshine. It's a way of life that understands that there are more ways than one to reach a goal or dream. We are all overwhelmed by the information thrown at us from whatever media outlet that our eyes have been consumed by the "partly cloudy skies" and we no longer look for the sunshine, but search for the storms.

Whichever side of the sky you are on, keep dreaming of a better world. Keep following those dreams and reach for the stars or the clouds. But focus on the sunshine and the things that brighten your life and warm your heart.
