- Fleeting Moments
Snowflakes
Begin doing what you want to do now. We are not living in eternity. We have only this moment, sparkling like a star in our hand - and melting like a snowflake. Let us use it before it is too late.

The ice and snow have blanketed our little slice of the world. Whether you like it or not, the winter season is upon us. The kids and I are at home for the week once again and much to my husband's displeasure, we've begun decorating for the Christmas season. I know some of you are grimacing at that thought because my husband has pointed out, several times, that it isn't even Thanksgiving.
There is so much magic this time of year. The beauty of the glitter covered trees and earth, the comfort of gratitude, and the joy of the familiarity of the Christmas season. It's even more magical seeing it all through a child's eyes. Their perspective is full of excitement, untainted by the harsher side of reality. Their minds filled with joy and happiness, instead of dread and negativity.
This year especially, we could all use that perspective this season. May we all chose to live in the happy moments as they come, believe in the magic of our dreams, and celebrate our lives with joy and gladness.
