Sometimes, you just need to hit refresh...

The sunrise, of course, doesn't care if we watch it or not. It will keep on being beautiful, even if no one bothers to look at it. Gene Amole

Tired. Exhausted. Anxious. Overwhelmed. Stressed.

I really feel that there are so many in our world today that have experienced those emotions. I can't speak for everyone, but I feel like life is like a teeter totter and finding a balance feels next to impossible. Work, kiddos, COVID, everything else, seems to be wonky anyway I try to work the balance. Taking care of myself isn't even on the same board as everything else and I haven't felt myself for a long time.

As much as I dread the seasons that my husband is gone for work, I love the times in a tractor. Especially during silage season when you cannot escape the cab. My little family spent 4 hours together and it was amazing. No TV, no housework, remodeling projects, just the kiddos playing and laughing and catching up with my husband. We haven't had time like that in so long. The drive home was around 2 and a half hours, my kiddos slept and I was able to appreciate the silence and the view around me and stop for some photos.

Friend, find time to recharge that battery. The worries, the projects- they will all always be there, just like life keeps moving. COVID is going to be here a long time, but that doesn't mean we should stop appreciating life. Push away those emotions by hitting the reset button and watch the sunrise, because life is pretty amazing.
